Fire consuming as our God will be
Letter to the Hebrews Twelve v- 26 thru 29
26 His voice shook the earth at that time, but now he has promised, “I will once more shake not only earth but heaven.” 27 That phrase, “once more,” points to [the] removal of shaken, created things, so that what is unshaken may remain. 28 Therefore, we who are receiving the unshakable kingdom should have gratitude, with which we should offer worship pleasing to God in reverence and awe. 29 For our God is a consuming fire.
Have you ever felt the consuming fire of God? I would venture to say that we all have felt the chastisements that God has given for mistakes of the heart that we couldn’t control until we found God as the reason to breathe. Then we begin to see in our lives that ruling nature of God and pursue avenues that embrace His love, faith and hope of His mercy. A common theme of living Redeemed! Amen. Today we feel sad as a nation because the evil a child taught himself to hate and kill others brought about the unthinkable of losing loved ones the children of tomorrow who will at some point experience this madness over-and-over again as Satan continues to rule the culture we want to call “our fundamental right.” We have it on both sides of the aisle in Congress; gun lovers and baby killers. One protects our freedoms yet offers opportune ways for Satan to infiltrate a child’s mind and boom the takeover explosion while the other kills off our future systematically until our world has awoken and feels the consuming fire of grace. Let us hope and pray this time of revelation comes sooner than later as our nation gears up to take on the killing of our children hopefully we can stop this gun violence too. Amen.
I am asking for prayer intention for our ministry to share The Spiritual Exercises in the Florida Prison System as a two-year class of weekly meetings to go over a compilation of meditations, prayers, and contemplative practices developed by St. Ignatius Loyola to help the prisoners deepen their relationship with God. For centuries the Exercises were most commonly given as a “long retreat” of about 30 days in solitude and silence but our prison program will focus on the prisoners who are within five years of getting out as we concentrate on their transition with other programs we will offer. In recent years, there has been a renewed emphasis on the Spiritual Exercises as a program for laypeople. The most common way of going through the Exercises now is a “retreat in daily life,” which involves a months long program of daily prayer and meetings with a spiritual director. Join me as I develop this for those who need prayer the most. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty we pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day. Lord give them peace in their last breath. Silence for the prayers of others. In the Holy Spirit we pray brothers in Kairos the men in blue. We pray for Holy Mother Church. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Time earth shook from voice His not mistaken
Promise now heaven and earth shaken once more
Phrase that once more things created remain the unshaken
Kingdom unshakeable received gratitude have implore
Worship offer should we to see
God is pleased awe and reverence received
Fire consuming as our God will be
The Fire that ignites you and me
