Emmaus their home mile seven would prove

THE GOSPEL OF LUKE CHAPTER 24 ONE THRU TWELVE

Click LOGO for full text of Spirit led podcast reflecting our life in Christ poetically translated from Scripture one line at a time.

13 Now that very day two of them were going to a village seven miles from Jerusalem called Emmaus, 14 and they were conversing about all the things that had occurred. 15 And it happened that while they were conversing and debating, Jesus himself drew near and walked with them, 16 but their eyes were prevented from recognizing him.

We begin today on a journey every human soul will complete grasping at reality while the spirit anoints the weak. Literally, humanity has found an adventure we all work hard to complete not knowing when death will rise and seize all we reap. The two walking along were not described by most thinking either a male and female disciple walking back without their host. The Redeemer had come and died on a Cross destroying what they thought in their mind was the annihilation of salvation literally moping along describing and living what we feel each and every day as we describe our lost lies lived languishing. The journey has many a verse to describe this town called Emmaus God seems to hide in a days recollection of a walk entered and denied.

There is only One Spirit that can keep us alive bound together with our Father and The Son as One complete. Trying to understand a long-lost cause for many who ask most to keep their view inside of you unlike Jesus who appeared to the two walking along feeling defused asking while knowing the debate they had ensued. When your eyes are prevented from recognizing the truth, Jesus seems absent but reality makes use of a world clamoring to distract you just as these two were on their way home crying coping canvassing the thoughts why their savior had to do what we need to do each day die to the world and become God’s way. Your Emmaus journey begins in rhyme as we discuss why the spirit anoints the believers happy no matter the world’s cause to cry. Amen.

Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Prayer intentions. Silence for the prayers of others. In Jesus Name. Amen. Precious Blood
