Will you deny God’s Decrees now for selfish reasons of friendship, fantasy and frolicking?

Doing the will of God from the heart, willingly serving the LORD and not human beings, knowing that each will be requited from the LORD for whatever good he does. Ephesians 6:6d-8

For behold, some are last who will be first, and some are first who will be last. Luke 13:30

Ephesians 6:1-9, Psalm 145 & Luke 13:22-30

I like to think the Will of God is being accomplished when we place God First in all things knowing everything else will fall into place as God deems necessary. It’s when we willingly serve the LORD without selfish motives or self-serving desires does the LORD shower His Grace upon thee with everlasting love shining through desperation, despair and danger.

There in God’s midst as we seek to enter His Kingdom we will be asked to look back over our lives where God will even the score for whatever good we may have done. Jesus reminds us today in Luke that we may knock but not be let in by our unwillingness now to do what God instructs in His Holy Word. Will you deny God’s Decrees now for selfish reasons of friendship, fantasy and frolicking? “For behold, some are last who will be first, and some are first who will be last.” Amen.

Let us pray: Dear LORD, we pray we serve You LORD willingly from the heart to accomplish Your Will and not our own. Day three of a novena of prayers for Carmen of the Capri. We pray for a successful fast. We pray in Christ’s Risen Name indeed. Amen.

For your Master in Heaven to begin– Ephesians 6:1-9

Children show respect

Right from the left

Father and mother honored

First Commandment garnered

Long life entailed

No children have to wail

Fathers training them right

To always seek God’s Light

In sincerity of heart

Love God from the start

Obedient as slaves of Christ

Living the Will of God to suffice

Serving the LORD not men

No bullying to eternally win

For your Master in Heaven to begin

No partiality when living in sin
