Didymus called Thomas missing twelfth
24 Thomas, called Didymus, one of the Twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. 25 So the other disciples said to him, “We have seen the Lord.” But he said to them, “Unless I see the mark of the nails in his hands and put my finger into the nail marks and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.” 26 Now a week later his disciples were again inside and Thomas was with them. Jesus came, although the doors were locked, and stood in their midst and said, “Peace be with you.” 27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here and see my hands, and bring your hand and put it into my side, and do not be unbelieving, but believe.” 28 Thomas answered and said to him, “My Lord and my God!” 29 Jesus said to him, “Have you come to believe because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.” John 20:24-29
Are you a doubting Thomas? Having the name Thomas sometimes seems to be a curse as people pointed out the doubting we all have when it comes to taking a hold of Christ’s Truth as the One and Only Messiah. To understand what it means to find our Lord in every area of our life even though we may think we have no physical presence of him now is not what the Bible teaches us to live in sharing the Word of God each and every day. Thomas found out firsthand as Jesus allowed him to put his finger in his side seeing the nail marks at his hands and lance wound that gave us water and blood dripping from the Cross.
To see him in all we do will make us come to believe by getting down on our knees asking for forgiveness finding us able to share this love, faith and hope of real Charity. I too often say my Lord and my God asking God to forgive me for my sins but more importantly to call out to him in each and everything sharing what it means to live God First where my belief comes from the Truth anointed in my soul granting others the opportunity to live Redeemed. We are reminded today we are blessed as those who have not seen and yet still Believe. Amen.

Disciple hidden looking for help
Lord seen disciples report in a yelp
Believe not hand mine side his nail marks felt
Locked doors Jesus entered Thomas inside again
Peace with you be midst standing a Jesus amen
Thomas said Jesus hands yours side mine when
Belief falls upon your unbelief covering sin
God mine Lord Mine Thomas would begin
Believing is seeing overcoming demons from within
Jesus seen now he believed and would comprehend
Belief of theirs Jesus would bless and defend
