Devout righteous Simeon

THE GOSPEL OF LUKE CHAPTER 2 25 THRU 32

25 Now there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon. This man was righteous and devout, awaiting the consolation of Israel, and the holy Spirit was upon him. 26 It had been revealed to him by the holy Spirit that he should not see death before he had seen the Messiah of the Lord. 27 He came in the Spirit into the temple; and when the parents brought in the child Jesus to perform the custom of the law in regard to him, 28 he took him into his arms and blessed God, saying: 29 “Now, Master, you may let your servant go in peace, according to your word, 30 for my eyes have seen your salvation, 31 which you prepared in sight of all the peoples, 32 a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and glory for your people Israel.”

When the Lord birthed the milk of salvation by the womb of Mary, only a short eight days later dis Simeon the Prophet realize he could now cry over the milk (Jesus) had been born knowing he would no longer have to wait to find the Lords peace in salvation eternal. Then his tears turned to rejoicing for he knew the spirit so holy’s revelation had come to pass revealing to him the Messiah. I often wonder what it would’ve been like to hold the baby Jesus. Will you be filled with light seemed to make your hairs stand on end or did Jesus enlighten you within your soul goo goo gaga revealing a peace many don’t know.

We often wait for our Messiah crying over spilled milk as a detriment of loss instead of recognizing control is lost in the feeling of surrender to living all things redeemed. This action will soothe you’re mounting disappointment to an understanding that love, faith and hope will overcome all adversities even in the midst of pain received by overzealous individuals of plight they tend to ignite what is wrong instead of what is right. Embrace holiness that allows you to share the grace of Jesus knowing the Messiah can be shown in such a way people look at you to know why Jesus is the only answer. Amen.

Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and Rose for me. Prayer intentions. IN Jesus Name. Amen. Precious Blood
