If you died with Christ to the elemental powers of the world, why do you submit to regulations as if you were still living in the world? “Do not handle! Do not taste! Do not touch!” These are all things destined to perish with use; they accord with human precepts and teachings. While they have a semblance of wisdom in rigor of devotion and self-abasement [and] severity to the body, they are of no value against gratification of the flesh. Colossians 2:20-23

If I should be delayed, you should know how to behave in the Household of God, which is the Church of the Living God, the Pillar and Foundation of Truth. Undeniably great is the mystery of devotion, Who was manifested in the flesh, vindicated in the spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed to the Gentiles, believed in throughout the world, taken up in glory. 1^st Tim 3:15-16

The Son of Man came eating and drinking and you said, ‘Look, He is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.’ But wisdom is vindicated by all her children. Luke 7:34-35

The world has powers tested by steel, surgery and Saints of Old coupled with endless avenues of self-gratification, self-desires and self-appointments of judge over the people of teachings human. We crave to hear what others are doing seeking a neck rubberized by the flash and flair of the eyes of electronic devices taking our every step in and out of the flesh we gratify as wisdom gained in self-devotion void a spirit vindicated by pardon.

The pardon every believer believes they will get when we enter this last breath of seeing the surface where we seem to glide back-and-forth in the gentle waves of grace patiently waiting for the Wave of Mystery to open into a tunnel of blessings unrecognized in the plights of life in a never-ending wash of shifting undertow. The wave will crest and bring acquittal in the wisdom received to live love, faith and hope of Charity’s forever. Amen.

So we pray, LORD, to feel the vindication of Salvation shared without denial. Novena prayers day seven for Patricia S.
