As a result of this, many [of] his disciples returned to their former way of life and no longer accompanied him. Jesus then said to the Twelve, “Do you also want to leave?” Simon Peter answered him, “Master, to whom shall we go? You have the Words of Eternal Life. We have come to believe and are convinced that you are the Holy One of God.” Jesus answered them, “Did I not choose you twelve? Yet is not one of you a devil?” He was referring to Judas, son of Simon the Iscariot; it was he who would betray him, one of the Twelve. John 6:66-71

LORD, the God of my Salvation, I call out by day; at night I cry aloud in your presence. Psalm 88:2

For if those who adhere to the law are the heirs, faith is null and the promise is void. For the law produces wrath; but where there is no law, neither is there violation. Romans 4:14-15

John 6:66-71, Psalm 88 & Romans 4:14-15

Jesus has shown that knowing your betrayer really doesn’t take him away from you on the contrary it many times brings him closer to the idea of living for love, faith and hope of the true Messiah whereas Simon Peter noted, “Master, to whom shall we go? You have the Words of Eternal Life. We have come to believe and are convinced that you are the Holy One of God.” This is a revelation that turns denial into destiny allowing doom to be shaken off like the dust of your feet cleaned of nonbelievers. God reminds us today that while many of us will find Christ as the Convincing One of God revealing the Words of Life Eternal some will deny the journey we must pray and acknowledge the life is the way former we lived was overcome by a prayer.

To forgo the Mystery of the Bread of Life means we can’t recognize the True Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist of Truth denied by the devil called out by Christ as one of Twelve who by all accounts was placed by God as the facilitator shamed and famed in death that brought Salvation. We can all imagine the wail of Judas similar to our actions of stating we were wrong learning as Paul reminds us in Romans that the real denial of Christ comes from the law produced by man nullifying faith adhering to the desires of the world acting many times alone yeah unwilling to believe the wrath of God will impose on those who shamefully convey the cry of the deserter unless they begin crawling back to faith finding Redemption recognized instantaneously by your admission. Amen.

Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. Lord help us to live forgiven. Call on us to confess. Enlighten us to share Your Salvation. Help us to serve You on our knees. Prayers of protection for my son JSRW. IN Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
