The Gospel of John Six 67 thru 71

67 Jesus then said to the Twelve, “Do you also want to leave?” 68 Simon Peter answered him, “Master, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. 69 We have come to believe and are convinced that you are the Holy One of God.” 70 Jesus answered them, “Did I not choose you twelve? Yet is not one of you a devil?” 71 He was referring to Judas, son of Simon the Iscariot; it was he who would betray him, one of the Twelve.

Let us look back on the week lifting up those who are weak you know the many you passed along your way celebrating life as we do each day. The Devil is mentioned to warn us per say seek not your own will but the decision to follow his Way. Just as now many a disciple have a choice; should we leave or wonder with a prophet with no money or no place to stay no food although they had been fed heartedly per say. Each was afraid in their own little way. How can we trust this passing stranger? Maybe a friend or maybe he was a neighbor. He is nothing to those in family or around town seeking not his own will but that of his Master living with what many may think without a sound.

But we know better we hear His voice sometimes He thunders sometimes He makes soft noise. See Him in the wind pushing palms around or see Him in the smile of a stranger who is always found on the corner or the bus stop or the coffee shop you see each day understand his magic is not the riches of possessions no it is Life Eternal he trusts without nary a thought to stray. You see He gives His all to us even though many like Judas we will betray what God sees as a future we must profess to say; our past is over we now allow God’s Son to lead the Way. Some will do it loud. Some will do it without shame while others like me will see our practice, prayer and proclamation is to say; God has inspired me to see His Spirit amongst the living as we eat His Body each day. Amen.

Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Prayers for our son Gabriel and Allen Thomas Wiggins. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Silence for the prayers of others. CORO-19 prayers globally. Holy Spirit and St Joseph CC & Holy Mother Church. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Leave also Disciples Twelve denied

Jesus encountered dismissal widespread

Go where Master Peter replied

Life Eternal Words here are said

God the One Holy are you

Believe how we are fed

Jesus replied Twelve chosen few

Devil amongst us name unsaid

Twelve had one betrayer’s bed

Foretold after each day’s discussion

Referencing Judas Iscariot’s son Simon shed

Chapter six concludes with his repercussion
