Universal Utterings for 2-23-2014

The LORD said to Moses: Speak to the whole Israelite community and tell them: Be holy, for I, the LORD your God, am Holy. Leviticus 19:1-2

The LORD tests the righteous and the wicked, hates those who love violence. Psalm 11:5

Jesus said, “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Heavenly Father, for He makes His sun rise on the bad and the good, and causes rain to fall on the just and the unjust.” Matthew 5:43-45

Leviticus 19:1-18, Psalm 11, First Corinthians 3:16-23 & Matthew 5:38-48

While the LORD hates violence, He surely loves a person who can forgive those who strike you physically, mentally or even spiritually. God asks us all to dig really deep into our souls and offer the other cheek as well being content in Christ not deficient being  disgusting in death’s sinful desires. No, God asks us to be Holy in His Truth abiding in the faith, hope and love of righteousness sharing charity in the Salvation only Jesus can offer to know peace, passion and purpose.

We must all concede that God will sustain life on all sides of right and wrong giving us a reason to offer peace in the midst of pestilence and persecution. This is our fervency of living surrendered abiding in His Word daily to sustain our passion’s call. Once you find and know His Purpose for your life, you are willing to submit to the love of obedience no matter the trial or tribulation we will all encounter. This life is filled with an overwhelming peace by always placing God First living humble in holiness. Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray to always turn the other cheek for peace LORD. Constant prayers for TD. Greg Bishop has our never-ending prayers. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. LORD from Psalm 11:7, I chant, “The LORD is just and loves just deeds; the upright will see His face.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Refuge David would take

Fleeing not for a bird’s sake

Mountains the wicked fake

Arrows shoot the heart’s face

 

Destroyed foundations lay

Do for the just one do, Obey?

Temple of the LORD will stay

Throne in Heaven we pray

 

Adam we all can relate

Children we are to state

Since the beginning of time’s escape

The test God gives all to our face

 

Wicked and righteous tested same

Our LORD won’t play the wicked’s game

Hating violence brimstone fiery He rains

Cup allotted wind scorching without blame

 

Deeds just He loves upright know His Fame
