Death of my hereditary door
23 So the Word spread among the brothers that that disciple would not die. But Jesus had not told him that he would not die, just “What if I want him to remain until I come? [What concern is it of yours?]” 24 It is this disciple who testifies to these things and has written them, and we know that his testimony is true. 25 There are also many other things that Jesus did, but if these were to be described individually, I do not think the whole world would contain the books that would be written. John 21:23-25
5 We do not preach ourselves but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your slaves for the sake of Jesus. 6 For God who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to bring to light the knowledge of the glory of God on the face of Christ. 7 But we hold this treasure in earthen vessels, that the surpassing power may be of God and not from us. 8 We are afflicted in every way, but not constrained; perplexed, but not driven to despair; 9 persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed; 10 always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our body. 11 For we who live are constantly being given up to death for the sake of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may be manifested in our mortal flesh. 12 So death is at work in us, but life in you. 13 Since, then, we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed, therefore I spoke,” we too believe and therefore speak, 14 knowing that the one who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and place us with you in his presence. 2 Corinthians 4:5-14
I’ve always used to wonder how I would honor my father realizing only later in life the Father of all was the most important dad to Call on living God First. The passageway I once walked down and dreamed of sharing as my hereditarial call by name and of life to carry on the flesh what I didn’t understand in the Spirit. How do I express this shock of learning your dad of the flesh of all dads will die soon? I am puzzled and lost for words reliving moments of peace and pain as much as fallacy and faith seems to go by so fast.
Do I share this pain telling others what I’m feeling what has brought me frustration speaking to the world what the world is lacking in love, faith and hope of what it means to live in his Charity. We do not preach to ourselves where nothing will strike us down that’s the life of Jesus did not pick back up and allow us the opportunity to know Redemption and the Eternal Spirit life. And finishing the Gospel of John today leave us with a palm about my father and what are titled death at hereditary door. Amen.
Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and Rose for me. Novena Day Eight for my Father Earl Wiggins. IN Jesus Name. Amen.
