6 When Simon Peter arrived after him, he went into the tomb and saw the burial cloths there, 7 and the cloth that had covered his head, not with the burial cloths but rolled up in a separate place. 8 Then the other disciple also went in, the one who had arrived at the tomb first, and he saw and believed. 9 For they did not yet understand the scripture that he had to rise from the dead. 10 Then the disciples returned home.
Blessed are those who see not and believe. Why does ignorance take us past the point of belief? We will ignore the obvious growth we will receive by living in Christ constantly yet we turn to idols to satisfy our needs. From sweets to clothes anything in between the name of a long-lost card game my dad would play forcing belief in a number over the Lord he later would agree. Nothing can come in-between you and the Lord if you practice what we pray seeking to understand what the disciples didn’t learn until a later time why the Christ would Rise why Jesus would Ascend Why the Savior of the world would overcome all wounds of oppression to walk free in Spirit even others can see. This is our Jesus giving us love, faith and hope of guaranteed mercy. Redeemed. Amen.
Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Prayers for our children Gabriel, Julian, Alexandra, Jeffrey and Allen and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Silence for the prayers of others.
