Consider the patience of our LORD as Salvation, as our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, also wrote to you, speaking of these things as he does in all his letters. In them there are some things hard to understand that the ignorant and unstable distort to their own destruction, just as they do the other scriptures. Second Peter 3”15-16

Second Peter 3:12-18, Psalm 90 & Mark 12:13-17

There has been false teaches since the beginning of time that creates illusions based upon their own desires and needs. Unlike Christ in every way, false teachers use their immorality to point out the promised coming of God had not occurred after the first wave of Christians began dying out insinuating that God had left them and the world behind to fend for themselves describing Jesus and Scripture as useless giving way to vulgar, lust and sin.

We are reminded to extort deliberate patience in Christ growing in grace and knowledge eliminating doubt by avoiding the dangers of error and loss of stability due to false teachings. In our own effort, we are to focus on the strength afforded to us by the Holy Spirit through studying the Bible daily, praying unceasingly over everything we do and sharing the Good News of Christ to people everywhere. “Consider the patience of our LORD as Salvation.”

In this, he advises there will be many things “the ignorant and unstable distort to their own destruction” but he advises us to listen to the wisdom given to Paul that he has written in all his letters. Paul’s sacrifice and praise comes from a first-hand knowledge given to him by God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit to guide humanity to strengthen our pardon, patience and purpose living only for the Will of God.

In our practice, prayer and preaching we find his wisdom as the guide Christ intended for us to follow leading us to the full knowledge of grace in Christ Jesus. Be Patient. Know His Pardon. Live for His Purpose. Amen.

Let us pray: Dear LORD, we pray to always be patient living for Your Truth guided by Your Spirit. We pray for a special intention at my school to be resolved in Truth with minimal hurt feelings. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Living in knowledge of Christ as a Disciple- Second Peter 3:12-18

We must all wait to see

The coming of God to be

The Heavens of flames to free

Sinners like you and me

Live according to His Promise

Await the New Heaven and earth

Where only righteousness dwells

Where only God does exert

An unblemished life of peace

The patience of Salvation

Forewarned and stable

The real reason of lamination

Be on your guard my friends

Against error of the unprincipled

Not failing from your own stability

Living in knowledge of Christ as a Disciple
