Congress Walk for Truth with my students from Room 108 on Old Cutler Road

Categories: Campaign Blog Archive from 2012 run for Congress

July 1, 2011 @ 10:00 AM- Congress Walking Cruz-Wiggins Petition Drive began at the Trooper Robert G. Smith Park in Cutler Bay on SW 216 Street and walked along Old Cutler Road south towards the Publix with six students from my class coming along with three parent chaperones. It was probably the proudest day I have had in my Congress Walk for Truth. To see their smiling faces was a joy beyond explanation. As you can see from the photos below, the kids were enthusiastic and a refreshing change of a road that has been long and HOT since leaving Key West on June 14th.. I have to admit that more cars today honked and flashed their lights than any other day. Tomorrow we begin our day at 10 Am at the corner of SW 87th and Old Cutler Road with another group of students from my class. Please come out and join us. I’ll pass out yard signs to carry and we’ll walk two miles North and return two miles South to our starting point. My journey continues as I commit to making a difference to our home, community and country for the Glory of God. May God Bless America. TJCW
