Congress Walk for Truth from Galloway and Old Cutler Road with students and parents

Categories: Campaign Blog Archive from 2012 run for Congress

July 2, 2011 @ 10:00 AM- Congress Walking Cruz-Wiggins Petition Drive began today at 10:00 AM from Old Cutler Road and Galloway heading North for a short mile due to an illness with my wife today. I decided to walk at least for a few minutes because I had already established a meeting time with three families of my class. I welcomed the The Herrera family of Jayson, The Rodriguez Family of Paulina and Edgar and The Herrera Family of Samantha. We all had a good little walk and had many people wave and honk today. One man did a U-turn to talk to me personally voicing his concerns about controlling our borders. Afterwards, I was traveling home and met a man in the bank drive through line who commented on my window screen which reads “VOTE out Career Politicians.” After some discussion by his van, I learned he lived in my neighborhood and was also a Veteran of the US Armed Forces and I promptly gave him a salute. He signed a petition for me and took a yard sign. Thanks for your questions Antonio and your support! My Congress Walk for Truth will resume July 4th from Coconut Grove and then in Coral Gables during the morning. I will be attending the American Legion July 4th event at 1 PM in Coral Gables. I also celebrate my wedding anniversary July 4th with my beautiful wife Toni who is surely my biggest supporter. Please leave any questions you might have here on my blog site and look for me Monday in Coconut Grove or Coral Gables as we celebrate our Nation’s Birthday. May God Bless America. TJCW
