Church or humanity offend none
1 Corinthians, Chapter 10 27 thru 33
27 If an unbeliever invites you and you want to go, eat whatever is placed before you, without raising questions on grounds of conscience. 28 But if someone says to you, “This was offered in sacrifice,” do not eat it on account of the one who called attention to it and on account of conscience; 29 I mean not your own conscience, but the other’s. For why should my freedom be determined by someone else’s conscience? 30 If I partake thankfully, why am I reviled for that over which I give thanks? 31 So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God. 32 Avoid giving offense, whether to Jews or Greeks or the church of God, 33 just as I try to please everyone in every way, not seeking my own benefit but that of the many, that they may be saved.
Many consider the Bible a source of God’s love but seemingly dis our Creator when things are mentioned regarding sacrifice and the eating of every kind of food using these instances as a reason to say, “that was then and this is now” refusing to pray until doom reaches their town. The sacrifice of yesterday that Paul was asking them to deny is really the world that many are still hanging onto seeking self until the day they die.
A Prophet would have been easier to believe than a disciple who claims he was blinded by a sunny breeze after persecuting everyone who were seeking love in Christ to perceive. To take today and make freedom your call many will see it to encourage their stall on our knees be unafraid willing to ask God for help leaning on Jesus as the only way to heaven glorifying God in the beauty of Salvation will grant you peace. Glory glory glory glory glory glory glory glory glory glory to God. Amen.
