Christ endurance His Will to succeed
Letter to the Two Thessalonians Three v- One thru Five
1 Finally, brothers, pray for us, so that the word of the Lord may speed forward and be glorified, as it did among you, 2 and that we may be delivered from perverse and wicked people, for not all have faith. 3 But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one. 4 We are confident of you in the Lord that what we instruct you, you [both] are doing and will continue to do. 5 May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the endurance of Christ.
We must call on the endurance of Christ for the world will deliver more confusion than one can attest seeking refuge in the strength He gives as the ability to overcome the wicked temptations that seem to flash around us and sap our energy to accomplish good. This reminds me of a song my wife has been singing that comes from St Benedict who created a medal many a devout person wears. There is a lot of history here that I’ll share one day but today I’m going to share the song and symbol below that he placed the initials in Latin of the beginning of each word. Here it is in Latin translated into English.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty we pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. Silence for the prayers of others. In the Holy Spirit we pray brothers in Kairos the men in blue especially a prayer for Howard Richmond. We pray for Holy Mother Church. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Us for pray brothers true
Glorifying forward Lord’s word new
As it sped through all of you
People wicked perverse delivered from too
Faith have all not
Faithful is our Lord’s spot
You guard strengthen without stop
One evil you watch always on top
You instructed what our Lord needs
Doing continually confidentially concedes
God’s love hearts yours direct to believe
