THE GOSPEL OF LUKE CHAPTER 18 15 THRU 17
15 People were bringing even infants to him that he might touch them, and when the disciples saw this, they rebuked them. 16 Jesus, however, called the children to himself and said, “Let the children come to me and do not prevent them; for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 17 Amen, I say to you, whoever does not accept the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it.”
What does it actually mean to except the Kingdom of God like a child? As a retired school teacher, I would delve to say that Christ meant children have the absence of all knowledge and sinful realities that they would live or understand. Every child is one of leisure having no real worries in the midst of a chaotic world for they are at the mercy of adult control. As children grow, they begin to see their grandparents as themselves for they recognize the peaceful demeanor God asks of us all by placing him first. To be like a child brings peace, purpose and passion for personalities convene. Amen.
Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Prayer intentions. Silence for the prayers of others. #healRyan In Jesus Name. Amen. Precious Blood
I am a poet obedient to Christ,
