Wig’s Word of God Today 11-17-2012
Caught up with the decisions of tomorrow in persistence today?
When the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on earth? Luke 18:8c
Third John 1:5-8, Psalm 112 & Luke 18:1-8
The Parable of the Persistent Widow described by Jesus as bothersome to the “dishonest judge” encouraging him to “deliver a just decision for her lest she finally come and strike” him sets to point God’s desire to see us tireless in our effort to live in His Spirit. The Spirit of Action developing the Spirit of Prayer acting on the Spirit of Truth. God wants us to be persistent as He reminds us today we can never give up His quest for humanity to live in His Salvation of love gesturing Truth in every movement across the plains of civilization.
We now see a divided America where the youth of today have caught up with the decisions of tomorrow and we must utilize every effort in our aching bones to share anything we may have jest in the past by not following God’s Way to lift them up in the cloud of Truth. We can’t stop saying, “Life begins at conception. God created everyone to pro create. His Word is unfailing.”
We must never stop praying for the world to know God’s love. Without failing because we know God is on our side. In death and life we must honor Him. “The LORD said, “Pay attention to what the dishonest judge says. Will not God then secure the rights of His chosen ones who call out to Him day and night? Will He be slow to answer them? I tell you, He will see to it that justice is done for them speedily. But when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on earth?” Luke 18:6-8 Amen.
Let us pray: Dear LORD, we pray to remain persistent to share Your Truth. We pray LORD for good weather today here in Gainesville. Let my eyes and actions personify You LORD. God please help us. We pray in Thanksgiving for my friends Greg and Kim and Harley and Kathy. We pray in Christ’s Risen Name indeed. Amen.

Will Christ find faith in His Light?- Luke 18:1-8
A story of desire
Old lady unique
Following the judge
No Spirit too weak
Smiting God he did
The judge who respected none
Fear wasn’t obvious
The widow who stunned some
Render my rights
The widow’s persistent rang
Long time unwilling
The judge soon would change
Bothering widow proved
Stubbornness could truly move
The heart of anger’s reprove
The judge who never knew
Put a spotlight there
Where the Christ does dare
Call out to Him in right
Secured in day or night
Will Christ find faith in His Light?
