Can you praise God in the midst of havoc?

The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; blessed be the Name of the LORD! In all this Job did not sin, nor did he charge God with wrong. Job 1:21b-22

Job 1:6-22, Psalm 17 & Luke 9:46-50

When we can truly state in the midst of turmoil, famine and distress that God is great all the time, then we can align our heart’s desire with the Will of God in thought, action and deed. If we’d only stop asking God for what we want and instead align with what He wants, then we’d see His graces beyond the natural grasps of our surroundings. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying lay down in the midst of distress and not fight back. On the contrary, we should stand up for what is Godly in all aspects of trusting His guidance, gifts and guarantee to find His Promise in the middle of protecting our own interests.

The same interest we all fight for such as the Foundation of Religious Liberty our great country was built upon. The same interest we all fight for such as the Truth God’s Word depicts as life-giving between a man and a woman in marriage as one in the LORD. Moreover, the foundational aspect of God’s Word that has laid every cornerstone of justice in the United States and across the world. Job lived for God’s Truth even to the point of losing his family and livelihood because he not once cursed God for his troubles. He did the opposite; he blessed God in praise and worked hard to reestablish the bond and unity he swore in allegiance with God’s Divine Plan for his life. For “in all this Job did not sin, nor did he charge God with wrong.” Amen.

Let us pray: Dear LORD, we pray today to live our lives for You even in the midst of tragedy. LORD, we pray today for sick and dying. We pray for our friends and enemies. We pray people choose You over stature or sin. We pray for strength, patience and health to fast in Your Will LORD. Give us Your strong arm of love forever. Jesus Christ is Risen! We pray in His Precious Name indeed. Amen.

Never sinning in ugliness and hate– Job 1:6-22

God asked His Angel Satan

If he noticed His servant Job

Yes he is respectful

To every desire Your Word intones

He is blameless and upright

Avoiding evil and sin

He has every great blessing

Living his life for You to win

Satan replied he will blaspheme

In your face if you destroy him

Touching his things to despair

Spitting in Your face without a care

God agreed Satan may destroy his possessions

But do not lay a hand on his person

Satan began a wrath Job was unable to control

He held his hands high praising God to show

His love of God through all obstacles

Nothing Satan did destroyed Job’s faith

Not being disrespectful to God

Never sinning in ugliness and hate
