Wigs Word of God Today 8-17-2013
If it is displeasing to you to serve the LORD, choose today whom you will serve, the gods your ancestors served beyond the River or the gods of the Amorites in whose country you are dwelling. As for me and my household, we will serve the LORD. Joshua 24:14
Then children were brought to Him that He might lay His hands on them and pray. The disciples rebuked them, but Jesus said, “Let the children come to Me, and do not prevent them; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:13-14
Joshua 24:14-29, Psalm 16 & Matthew 19:13-15
When we find patience in our lives, we find God in the most unthought-of places instilling faith abiding in hope welcoming His love. Patience wears thin for the person who seeks the constant pleasure of self forgoing Truth in the midst of a denied state. We will continue to question God as the ism of human origin while the faithful stay strong in serenity placing ourselves around people of faith who like you seek God’s perfection to serve in humility. We see this in the people who quietly lead their lives in practice, prayer and proclaiming by the unspoken words in their charity’s sweat. We watch the reversal if you will of the desires for individuals, neighborhoods, towns, cities, states, countries and finally continents to disgust us but entice us to live tethering Satan’s tale to the integrity of your soul where every ounce of Truth prevails until the self willingly serves God and not their own agenda.
My life no doubt until seven years ago was selfish forgoing the needs of friends and family to satisfy my own desires. I had no idea the joy would impact me so much to serve God as a teacher of His Children. When we learn to let the child direct their natural love of learning, we find a natural faith, hope and love to serve the world by the example we live to give rather than take forgive rather than hate forgoing haste serving to relate. The feeling I know God asks of us when serving to give back what we stole from our future by a past laced with sin. As I enter my eighth year of teaching, I am reminded everyday of letting the children come to Christ by the brass and ceramic sculptures resting above my screen on a shelf bringing to life the memories God asks of us to make. Children who impacted my life beyond the words I can write to justify the grace God has given me. “Let the children come to Me, and do not prevent them; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.” Amen.
We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray to serve only You LORD allowing the children to see Your Light in us. Novena prayers day one for Maria with cancer. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Greg Bishop has our constant prayers. LORD from Psalm 90:16-17, I chant- “Show Your deeds to Your servants, Your glory to their children. May the favor of the LORD our God be ours. Prosper the work of our hands!” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
I am yours in Christ,

The Children’s Heavenly Host– Matthew 19:13-15
They brought many a child
The expectations of the faces abide
Peace and joy truly undefiled
Christ lay hands on babes heads to comply
Asking for prayer rebuked
Disciples protection in stride
Allowed not by Christ in Truth
To Me Children are Heaven He’d confide
He wants them to come to find prayer
To these belongs a knee that can’t hide
For God loves their Truth in growth
Praying by hands to reside
The Children’s Heavenly Host
