THE GOSPEL OF LUKE CHAPTER 5 8 THRU11
7 They signaled to their partners in the other boat to come to help them. They came and filled both boats so that they were in danger of sinking. 8 When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at the knees of Jesus and said, “Depart from me, Lord, for I am a sinful man.” 9 For astonishment at the catch of fish they had made seized him and all those with him, 10 and likewise James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners of Simon. Jesus said to Simon, “Do not be afraid; from now on you will be catching men.” 11 When they brought their boats to the shore, they left everything and followed him.
Faith can capture a boatload of fish but at the same time people in love with the Lord understand that even if they don’t catch any fish they can still catch mankind sharing with them the beauty of living redeemed. It is hard obviously for the majority to come on board when we are clamoring for things that make us nervous or excited yet we fail to understand how our choices are making life unpredictable. I too as Simon Peter did feeling the wonders of grace unable to recognize Jesus not wanting to be rude or realistic. I didn’t find Christ’s Salvation because I was looking for the invitation of wrong over right because death was a desire I lived constantly fighting demons seeking an out-of-control life to rid fears of being controlled.
Once you have been the grasped around the neck and see your whole life leaving unable to scream or even move awakened with the slap of facial then neck then agonizing rear end pain. I was afraid this experience as a young salt label me something I wasn’t willing to be called or surely not admit. I felt sinful even though it wasn’t my fault I felt the shame not recognizing how to break into my vault opening the soul of surviving has finally had been released. Trauma doesn’t leave you it always reminds you in a daily walk sharing my all with Jesus the path of talking constantly to the world helping Jesus catch men and women and children to relay a mystery to walk in love, faith and hope of living free Amen.
Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and Rose for me. Prayer intentions. IN Jesus Name. Amen. Precious Blood

Knee falling Peter Simon
Man sinful am I
Lord me depart forever
Seized hearts they can’t deny
Fish catch astonished them all
Zebedee sons John and James
Simon partners he would call
Amazement reckoned Jesus gains
Afraid be not Jesus replied
You’re men catching now
Him followed all complied
Boats left cats meow
