Wig’s Word of God Today 12-21-2012

Believe what God gives us no matter the cost, courage or candor.

Blessed are you who believed that what was spoken to you by the LORD would be fulfilled. Luke 1:45

Song of Songs 2:8-14, Psalm 33 & Luke 1:39-45

I think we always have a hard time believing what God says in His Word because we are too caught up in what someone else portrays as Godly or Devout in the deception created by sins ending vice. You can’t be holier than thou through someone else or something gripping your active thought leading to the pleasures of self. We take on personas to pacify the Truth in living without making the choice to completely surrender no matter the cost, courage or candor allowing what you believe to be in communion with God’s Divine Will and not the will of a protagonist’s enticing smile.

God has not been asking you to enjoin Him because of what someone else does for their own life as much as God is asking you to unite your own energies no matter the cost to find Him in everything you live for. Jesus will cost you friends.  Jesus will separate family by what you believe the LORD says to you will be fulfilled. Scripture teaches us in Luke chapter 12:51-53,

Do you think that I have come to establish peace on the earth? No, I tell you, but rather division. From now on a household of five will be divided, three against two and two against three; a father will be divided against his son and a son against his father, a mother against her daughter and a daughter against her mother, a mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.”

There will be costs for Salvation but is there any figure at all we can put on freedom because of Christ’s Redemption? Today we CAN practice by reading our Bible uniting your time with God allowing anywhere, anytime or any circumstance to be skimming the Truth by the courage you find in Him. The courage it took a little Jewish girl to say yes knowing the costs but living the celebration.

God can give people the will to stand up against injustice but God gives each of us the courage to stand up in alone or together in prayer no matter the cost. I mean really, are you afraid of praying in public because someone will look down on you? Living a life of Christ takes courage to say yes as the young virgin did over 2000 years ago living in candor as she did in her Magnificat song of praise to her cousin Elizabeth.

To live in Christ’s candor we must forget about what people think and rely only what God instructs us to preach in His Word. Oh sure, it’ll cost you friends and family alike but the courage you use to preach the Gospel will dispel any notion of conceit by humbly presenting the Truth with candor’s mindful prop.

This Christmas celebrate with God’s union of no matter the cost, courage or candor it’ll take to live for God and God alone. You will practice, pray and preach to respond to God’s Call in Christ just as Mary’s proclaiming candor, “My soul proclaims the greatness of the LORD my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.” Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today to believe LORD the Truth spoken to us through Your Word. Day 9 of Julian’s Healing Surgery Novena. Constant prayers for Greg Bishop. Prayers are everlasting for God to give us a sign to lead us home. I’m ready, are you? Thoughtful prayers for our Kairos group entering the prison tonight to share the Gospel with men in blue. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Romans 8:28 Luke 1:46-47

There is Cost, Courage and Candor in Christ’s Decree

I find myself laughing at thee

Crying to know Jesus was hard to agree?

The cost was enormous nothing is for free?

Why can’t you believe what Christ’s makes us see?

Will you laugh at His offer for Salvation’s decree?

I find myself laughing at thee

Crying to know Jesus takes courage to agree

The world spits in your beard because He sets you free

Losing the offer of Salvation in blindful dark you can’t see

Will you use your courage by His offer of Salvation’s decree?

I find myself laughing at thee

Crying to know Jesus takes candor to agree

The outspokenness of Christ’s Truth will make you free

Do you finally believe what Christ’s make us see?

Will you accept His Salvation by living His Decree’s?
