Gospel of Mark Ch 6 v- 21 thru 24
21 She had an opportunity one day when Herod, on his birthday, gave a banquet for his courtiers, his military officers, and the leading men of Galilee. 22 Herodias’s own daughter came in and performed a dance that delighted Herod and his guests. The king said to the girl, “Ask of me whatever you wish and I will grant it to you.” 23 He even swore [many things] to her, “I will grant you whatever you ask of me, even to half of my kingdom.” 24 She went out and said to her mother, “What shall I ask for?” She replied, “The head of John the Baptist.”
Jealousy can kill but moreover ignoring the commandments will destroy not only your life but your soul and the damnation of eternal grace by accepting the world as the beauty you chase overfilling with others who laid waste their own unions of love that exploded in their face. Without loving God First it seems impossible to love another treating them with respect that never seems like druthers as we watch what a king did to his brother fornicating and marrying his wife he accepted to smother. The head of the Baptist will soon come on a platter as the world completes another tatter against humanity acting as if it didn’t matter. Jesus will weep for His cousin whose death was atrocious while the desire of excess continues to approach us we must stay steadfast in prayer to be God’s locomotive laying the tracks of love reporting God is with us. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty we pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. Silence for the prayers of others dealing with the war in Ukraine. In the Holy Spirit we pray our brothers in Kairos the especially a prayer for our men in blue. We pray for Holy Mother Church. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Courtiers his officers of the military banquet fill
Herod delighted by dancing daughter performing for a thrill
Girl was addressed by the king
You grant a wish for anything of my bling
Kingdom mine half even your performance did bring
Herodias her mother she asked receive what should I cling
Baptist head replying she John would soon be dead all would agree
