THE GOSPEL OF LUKE CHAPTER 22 14 THRU 20

21 “And yet behold, the hand of the one who is to betray me is with me on the table; 22 for the Son of Man indeed goes as it has been determined; but woe to that man by whom he is betrayed.” 23 And they began to debate among themselves who among them would do such a deed.

Where oh where is the Spirit when learning eyewitness accounts that are driven in the rain sliding all about from one person to the next yet I must point out that God sank His mark here by allowing Free Will to dominate every aspect of Jesus living in humanity. The miracles witnessed and recorded firsthand show this surrender to living Heaven on earth allowing all to see love, faith and hope of living Redeemed without written text.

If you believe in Salvation, then you believe God came to heal not hinder forgive not forget but to pray unceasingly over the life God asks you to live in Free Will. I like to believe Jesus would have talked less about disloyalty especially aloud when this Last Supper truly would have been his last meal. Jesus spoke to the men as friends and friends make the Gospels come alive in human terms unable to suppress thoughts of how one should feel if they were betrayed mainly that of the Redeemer himself. Amen.

Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Prayer intentions. Silence for the prayers of others. In Jesus Name. Amen. Precious Blood

Pericope pronounced “peri co pe’”
A pericope in rhetoric is a set of verses that forms one coherent unit or thought, suitable for public reading from a text, now usually of sacred scripture. Its importance is mainly felt in, but not limited to, narrative portions of Sacred Scripture.
