As He was walking in the temple area, the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders approached Him and said to Him, “By what authority are you doing these things? Or who gave You this authority to do them?” Jesus said to them, “I shall ask you one question. Answer Me, and I will tell you by what Authority I do these things. Was John’s baptism of heavenly or of human origin? Answer Me.” Mark 11: 27b-30

Frightened for your life you may be but in God’s fear life is a celebration of hope.

He saved me from every evil and preserved me in time of trouble. For this reason I thank and praise Him; I bless the Name of the LORD. In the short time I paid heed, I met with great instruction. Since in this way I have profited, I will give my Teacher grateful praise. Sirach 51:12, 15-16

Sirach 51:12-20, Psalm 19 & Mark 11:27-33

Look back across your life and place yourself in the very instance when you were frightened, afraid or terrified leaving no room for life to continue in your mind’s eye but alas you are here taking in the breaths of existence by the Power allotted only to One shared in Three protecting by faith surrounding you in hope smothered in love. The feeling of fear resonates in your soul by the lack of fear placed on the Grandeur of God. Frightened for your life you may be but in God’s fear life is a celebration of hope presenting every instance as God’s Divine Will. “For this reason I thank and praise Him; I bless the Name of the LORD.”

Fear of life sets you apart from God’s fear hoping like all to be justified by selfish wants void of God’s “Authority.” Following His Commands through Christ finds the only Way to Heaven not the lost hidden life of lust lost in ludicrous behavior. The Teacher is God wrapped in Three- Divine Love designed to accept self-will as a creature of destiny. Yes, one day we will all die resting in Eternity obliged by Grace or despised in damnation. The Scribes questioned Authority unwilling to bow down to Truth, “God’s Authority,” fulfilling all Prophesies since the beginning of time. I believe once we realize this we seek God’s Will in an understanding of our nature to be sinful hoping to be forgiven asking for forgiveness daily sighing in Truth’s Spirit.

This feeling stretches across all stages of life from a 77-year-old prisoner dying from cancer after spending 56 years from sin’s mistakes behind bars to the child who dies in the arms of parents reeling from a lost continuance of physical love. To trust the Authority takes courage in the midst of lust’s excessiveness and sometimes it seems to take a long time to find God’s Light on your own path every day until someone takes you to an Emmaus or spends time with you in the LORD. Now we wonder what to do before we slowly douse the flame that lit up your heart. The answer isn’t complicated but does forgive you: Christ Jesus. We must trust Him our practice of reading the Truth daily. We must pray endlessly over every thought our life lends to action. We must share this Good News in proclaiming the Authority in which you live. Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray we always trust Your Authority LORD placing our lives in Your Hands. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Greg Bishop has our constant prayers. Novena Prayers day four for Monica. LORD from Psalm 24:4-6 I chant- “The clean of hand and pure of heart, who has not given his soul to useless things, what is vain. He will receive blessings from the LORD, and justice from his saving God. Such is the generation that seeks Him.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

I am yours in Christ,

Ephesians 6:17-20

My Authority reigns from what you can’t concedeMark 11:27-33

Returning to Jerusalem’s lam
The Disciples and Jesus began
In the Temple area to fan
The Authority of Christ or sham?

Walking there to see
Chief Priests in twos and threes
Elders and Scribes agree
What authority do You be?

These things of sorcery we see
Not Divine they missed blindly
Jesus responded in Authority
Answer Me to see if you believe

John was Baptized in Heaven’s Win
Or was he baptized in human origin
Bringing discussion they didn’t grin
They debated what they couldn’t win

To say one or another wouldn’t comply
We can’t say either to somehow deny
Fear of the crowd made them hide
Not committing to nothing Christ would decide

John may have been a Prophet indeed
My Authority reigns from what you can’t concede
I will not tell how I believe
Speaking in parables Authority perceived
