Anyone who wants to become great among you must be your servant, and anyone who wants to be first among you must be your slave, just as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many. Matthew 20:26-28

Anyone who wants to become great among you must be your servant, and anyone who wants to be first among you must be your slave, just as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many. Matthew 20:26-28

Jeremiah 18:18-20, Psalm 31 & Matthew 20:17-28

I think one of the hardest things to do is serve other people and not your own interest. The LORD asks us to truly be the welcome mat to anyone at anytime and anywhere. I see this in helping the homeless, the elderly and the sick realizing a majority of people would rather walk across the street to avoid a homeless person asking for help or not volunteer to read to an elderly person who seems to be a sleeping corpse. But these people are Children of God just like you and me. They need to be consoled, touched, hugged and prayed with just like any of us.

It’s hard to go our of your way for someone who smells terrible, looks dirty or is thought of as a drunk but I’m here t tell you the homeless of the world is simply looking for a way out of a desperate situation turned horrendous. Recently I wrote of a homeless woman who my wife and I shared clothes and costume jewelry with. Her name is Edi, she’s an example of someone who asked for nothing but something to eat, and we gave her a smile she wore every time we stopped to see her.

Her life of being homeless changed recently when she was offered to live in a home for the lost and confused. A sort of halfway house in Homestead. The last time I saw her she was wearing the jeans and shirt I gave her and was proudly wearing the jewelry my wife had shared. “Tell Toni I love my necklace,” she said as she touched it with her hand when I hugged her goodbye. We must all learn to serve the least among us for the Glory of God. Amen.

By Father, Son and Holy Ghost we pray to live a life of service for the Glory of God the Father. I’m praying for my mom’s complete recovery LORD. We pray for “40 Days of Life” volunteer prayer people who are on-scene from 7 am to 7 pm daily through Easter. We pray for the Emmaus Team in NJ. We pray for LIFE FM. We pray for all people. Jhaysonn my brother I’m praying for you hard Bro. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

To Give His Life for Ransom of the Least- Matthew 20:25-28

Don’t let the rulers’ lord over you

Jesus reminded the disciples in Truth

Great ones make their authority felt

Not among you serving as you knelt

If you wish to be mighty

Big among men

No one will be great

Serving righteousness not sin

To be first you must be a slave

A servant to serve any sinful beast

Just as the Son of Man came to serve

To Give His Life for Ransom of the Least
