Anxious Martha

THE GOSPEL OF LUKE CHAPTER 10 38 THRU 42

38 As they continued their journey he entered a village where a woman whose name was Martha welcomed him. 39 She had a sister named Mary [who] sat beside the Lord at his feet listening to him speak. 40 Martha, burdened with much serving, came to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me by myself to do the serving? Tell her to help me.” 41 The Lord said to her in reply, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and worried about many things. 42 There is need of only one thing. Mary has chosen the better part and it will not be taken from her.”

It’s ll in the details. It’s the way we live our lives to overcome the burden of surviving in the world. So many times, you see spiritual leaders state what seems to be the obvious yet humans struggle with the notion constant worry is useless yet historically leaders of faith lead a life of surrender speaking to others by the recovery we share overcome by Salvation. God no more wanted Martha to be worried than you or me granting wisdom to focus on a daily practice living the word of God in prayer establishing smiles, sweat and satire to calm the fears by proclaiming life is eternal in actions that’s speak calm not calamity creates coupling securing life’s foundations as Heaven on earth. Amen.

Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and Rose for me. Prayer intentions. IN Jesus Name. Amen. Precious Blood
