Gospel of John Chapter Two 18 thru 25
18
At this the Jews answered and said to him,
“What sign can you show us for doing this?” 19 Jesus answered and said to them, “Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise
it up.” 20 The Jews said, “This temple has
been under construction for forty-six years, and you will raise
it up in three days?” 21 But he was speaking about the
temple of his body. 22 Therefore, when he was raised
from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this, and they came to
believe the scripture and the word Jesus had spoken. 23 While he was in Jerusalem for
the feast of Passover, many began to believe in his name when they saw the
signs he was doing. 24 But Jesus would not trust
himself to them because he knew them all, 25 and did not need anyone to
testify about human nature. He himself understood it well.
The world always wants a sign. The spirit of the Lord dwells
in people who see the everlasting miracles of love, faith and hope of
everything eye-witnessed and set in place according to the will of God in the
divine providence allowing humanity to live redeemed. Our salvation has been
spoken about over and over and over again simply seeing him in everything we
do. Even in the midst of chaos the sign of Jesus hanging on a Cross has killed
sin and resurrected by the power of the one and only true God.
To believe in his name allows our nature of human eloquence
to testify to anyone at any time and any place. This location doesn’t have to
be a church for more importantly it should be the every day travels we
encounter to living God first. Take the yoke that we know seems heavy and is
now eternally lighter than the flowers that bloom magical smells of eternal
peace, and trust life everlasting has been eye-witnessed and secured by the
glory of God made man for the beauty of living His Life of Charity. Amen.
Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord.
