Amazed the reason why Papa construed
The Gospel of John Five 17 thru 20
17 But Jesus answered them, “My Father is at work until now, so I am at work.” 18 For
this reason the Jews tried all the more to kill him, because he not only broke
the sabbath but he also called God his own father, making himself equal to God.
19 Jesus answered and said to them, “Amen, amen, I say
to you, a son cannot do anything on his own, but only what he sees his father
doing; for what he does, his son will do also. 20 For the Father loves his Son
and shows him everything that he himself does, and he will show him greater
works than these, so that you may be amazed.”
Where do we draw the line in love? Is there a mark that
signals we can’t go any father? I mean sure we get sick of hearing excuses
untold. “Give it time. Let things work
through.” But is there a limit on the exasperation parents feel when children
seemingly disappear? The obvious answer seems tough because tough love makes children
adults and vice versa. We can’t escape the fact God is in control of everything
even the anxiety of your own soul. Our Lord and Savior rests in there ready and
willing to share grace without a question where there is no return but faith shinning
the hope of Salvation.
The Father is at work even here. Yes, only love can answer
these questions of patience, persistence and perseverance in His hope of our
Eternal call. This is the Father at work in you saying, “Listen to my Spirit make your being see Me in every aspect of your
life.” I know, it’s tough. The flash and flare of everything excessive
seems to beckon us in our desire of having it all. When we shed this
disappearing act, we find ourselves immersed in the Lord’s work unwilling to relinquish
His Divine assistance in everything by your practice, prayer and proclamation
of everything driven by grace. There is no line drawn in love for the sweetness
of honey never goes bad in the taste buds of Truth. Amen.
Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord.
I believe You died and rose for me. Prayer intentions. Prayers for our son
