The Gospel of John Six 14 thru 21

14 When the people saw the sign he had done, they said, “This is truly the Prophet, the one who is to come into the world.” 15 Since Jesus knew that they were going to come and carry him off to make him king, he withdrew again to the mountain alone. 6 When it was evening, his disciples went down to the sea, 17 embarked in a boat, and went across the sea to Capernaum. It had already grown dark, and Jesus had not yet come to them. 18 The sea was stirred up because a strong wind was blowing. 19 When they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and coming near the boat, and they began to be afraid. 20 But he said to them, “It is I. Do not be afraid.” 21 They wanted to take him into the boat, but the boat immediately arrived at the shore to which they were heading.

When you believe in love, faith and hope, miracles will come and go in such a manner that His face establishes grace upon your being in every circumstance aching to give your all to God First. As we grow older we find more reasons to believe wanting to overcome the fear of trusting life eternal. They wanted to make him the king that he already was given this title by his one and only father our Lord almighty.

When Jesus tells us do not be afraid he reminds us to embrace every aspect of his being arriving in His flesh caught up in the spirit fueled by his body and blood. This presence is our peace some try to make it into a symbol but when you truly believe in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ you will believe in his true presence given to us in the Eucharist daily on a worldwide basis. You too will arrive immediately when you become a child of God seeking his will in all things. Amen.

King thoughts Prophet true

Alone Jesus mountain withdrew

Off Him carry ado

This Jesus surely knew

Sea disciples embarked early evening

Capernaum sailing seas rough awaiting

Dark adventure without Jesus contemplating

Miles rowing Jesus came walking

Boat Jesus drew near their fear

Afraid be not water walking Seer

Enter a walk they hold dear

Arriving immediately shore became obviously near
