Letter to the One Thessalonians Three v- One thru Four
1 That is why, when we could bear it no longer, we decided to remain alone in Athens 2 and sent Timothy, our brother and co-worker for God in the gospel of Christ, to strengthen and encourage you in your faith, 3 so that no one be disturbed in these afflictions. For you yourselves know that we are destined for this. 4 For even when we were among you, we used to warn you in advance that we would undergo affliction, just as has happened, as you know.
How do you bear the affliction one receives because of your love Jesus Christ? Paul warned the Thessalonian brothers that each and every person in Christ would suffer at the hands of others because they lack the emotional understanding of living Redeemed wanting to keep their current religion in place not recognizing that Jesus wasn’t here to abolish the Law but to fulfill it. Amen. We as Christians are used to taking the place of another in suffering many times offering our own bodies as the answer to torture, teasing or testing your faith’s buoyancy whether you will float or sink in the Name of Jesus. No matter your place in life our need to suffer will become evident by our choices of helping those who need the strength God gives us to withstand all things. We all need healing from some sort of affliction that only God can repair by His Divine Presence learning as we do to depend on His Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity Truly Present in the Eucharist to give us strength from His saving grace and mercy of Salvation. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty we pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. Silence for the prayers of others. In the Holy Spirit we pray brothers in Kairos the men in blue. We pray for Holy Mother Church. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.
