Universal Utterings
for January 9, 2017
On the fourteenth night, as we were still being driven about on the Adriatic Sea, toward midnight the sailors began to suspect that they were nearing land. The sailors then tried to abandon ship; they lowered the dinghy to the sea on the pretext of going to lay out anchors from the bow. But Paul said to the centurion and the soldiers, “Unless these men stay with the ship, you cannot be saved.” So the soldiers cut the ropes of the dinghy and set it adrift. Acts 27:27, 30-32
The voice of the LORD is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the LORD, over the mighty waters. Psalm 29:3
Jesus said to him in reply, “Allow it now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed Him. Matthew 3:13
Acts 27:27, 30-32, Psalm 29 & Matthew 3:13
Sometimes the storm seems to carry us further and further away when really it’s simply just bringing us closer by the divine works of God Almighty. Excites me just see the storm because I know God is the one who created and as Paul no matter the storm we can accomplish things for God that allow others to see the peace passion and purpose of everything Jesus. Sometimes we think that we’re just set adrift by God don’t remember God forces the drift to carry you where he seeks the Truth and every thought action and deed as a true decree of God First.
Paul reminds us today that you cannot be saved if you jump ship for the world or glide across your paths of selfishness to establish greed over gumption allowing your innate feeling to become love, faith and hope of Christ’s charity Redemption. You can feel Christ’s thundering above you and the storms sealed with lightning that seem to electrify the moments he asked the most of you. This is called praise and worship where we get down on our knees allowing righteousness to be fulfilled in a mind, Body and soul of the goodwill god grants and our confession of him being the creator of every storm and every sweet sunrise for peace. Amen.
Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. Lord, I am sorry. Please forgive us as we forgive others. Please be with us always. We will try to live mercy as the Works of You. We pray for each other for our warriors risking life for liberty, our leaders who guide us faithfully and for family or friends sick or troubled alone and afraid. We pray for all intentions in the silence of your own heart. Novena Day One for Tim and Michelle. Novena Day One for Nilsa. Happy 18 Bday to my son Jeff. Closerwalkmedia.com. IN Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
