50 Now there was a virtuous and righteous man named Joseph who, though he was a member of the council, 51 had not consented to their plan of action. He came from the Jewish town of Arimathea and was awaiting the kingdom of God. 52 He went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. 53 After he had taken the body down, he wrapped it in a linen cloth and laid him in a rock-hewn tomb in which no one had yet been buried. 54 It was the day of preparation, and the sabbath was about to begin. 55 The women who had come from Galilee with him followed behind, and when they had seen the tomb and the way in which his body was laid in it, 56 they returned and prepared spices and perfumed oils. Then they rested on the sabbath according to the commandment.
You know when somethings going wrong around you and you begin to talk to the precise side of living righteous and virtuous experiencing exactly what Joseph the Arimathean must have seen and did as an action to claim the body of Jesus. Already tomb ready he was in position to help without making a big fuss about it. Think about that when you do stuff for others be a Joseph who helps in some way no matter the cause or some public consequence of association.
I like to tell people my relationship with Jesus in a song normally standing in line looking at some sort of filth where nausea enters your stomach and makes you want to throw up and go drink some milk. Or be the women who follow close by preparing to anointed Jesus body as the commandment of no work on the sabbath made their dressing a different day actuating Christ’s three day Rising. Redeemed and valued for salvation forgiving to live in God’s holy peace. Amen.
