Universal Utterings for 12-9-2013

In the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a town of Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the house of David, and the virgin’s name was Mary. And coming to her, he said, “Hail, favored one! The LORD is with you.” Luke 1:26-28

Genesis 3:9-20, Psalm 85, Ephesians 1:3-12 & Luke 1:26-38

Can you really give your everything to God’s Plan by listening to the voice of angel? Whether you feel you have dreamed or know in your heart an Angel visited you, could you listen and really do what God asks of us? What would have happened if Mary said no? Or could she say no? We would have thought Joseph would say no to the embarrassment of accepting a pregnant woman but he too receives a visit from an angel backed up by a dream to have a son allowing the birth to happen resulting in a zealous love for a boy who created a saint in a man who was already Godly. Described as a “just man,” we can only imagine what it would have been like to keep the girl he loved to raise the Christ for the entire world’s freedom from sin. Joseph no doubt was a devout man filled with God in every aspect of his life recognizing in Mary the holiness bestowed on them both to be the married family God would want the world to mimic. Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray to Hail Mary as the Mother of God. Novena prayers day 4 for Greg Bishop’s miraculous healing for he has our prayers often each day. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. LORD from Psalm 85:11, I chant, “Love and Truth will meet; justice and peace will kiss.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

A family surrendered to Truth Salvation had begun– Luke 1:26-38

Hail Mary Favored One
Handmade of Truth betrothed from above
Nothing can happen for none to shun
The Virgin surrendered to Eternal Love

Joseph her spouse to Eternally win
A man of faith honoring her not in sin
A family built by the Angel’s breath of wind
Blown into the soul of Joseph nothing to defend

Afraid not were the two in tow
Following Jesus until the end you know
Both loving the Son who’d they show
A family favored by Salvation to sow

No embarrassment from the Favored Ones
The Holy Spirit overshadowed the Truth of the Son
Joseph honored as the husband Mary had won
A family surrendered to Truth Salvation had begun
