THE GOSPEL OF LUKE CHAPTER 17 28 THRU 37

28 Similarly, as it was in the days of Lot: they were eating, drinking, buying, selling, planting, building; 29 on the day when Lot left Sodom, fire and brimstone rained from the sky to destroy them all. 30 So it will be on the day the Son of Man is revealed. 31 On that day, a person who is on the housetop and whose belongings are in the house must not go down to get them, and likewise a person in the field must not return to what was left behind. 32 Remember the wife of Lot. 33 Whoever seeks to preserve his life will lose it, but whoever loses it will save it. 34 I tell you, on that night there will be two people in one bed; one will be taken, the other left. 35 And there will be two women grinding meal together; one will be taken, the other left.”[36]*37They said to him in reply, “Where, Lord?” He said to them, “Where the body is, there also the vultures will gather.”

Living in my own prison

If you feel like you’re living in your own prison, you are not alone for the world is filled with people of duplicity. Our own president balks at his own stupidity of trying to get ahead no matter what it takes willing we think to preserve the life he knows or at least he thinks his family will always have. Money does not fulfill people it makes us crazy wanting the riches not noticing the separation of family until the family is all gone.

What separates us from family will separate us from God for we do not place first the notion of living as you would be expected to be treated as a neighbor who considers all the same obviously excluding the father, the son and the Holy Spirit. How we use to be frightened of this disappearance we hear Jesus speak of today but vultures gather at the bodies death while children of God gather to send forth their eternal spirit in Christ garnered by the baptism of cleanliness ridding us free from pain of belongings personal not worried to lose or leave behind anything other than your soul. Amen.

Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Prayer intentions. Silence for the prayers of others. #healRyan In Jesus Name. Amen. Precious Blood

Where Disciples replied
Them Jesus said
Body always denied
Gathering vultures widespread
