For if we live, we live for the LORD, and if we die, we die for the LORD; so then, whether we live or die, we are the LORD’s.
Romans 14:8
I walked amongst the charredness of a sight so grim. Even three weeks or so after a piece of American history came burning down, I found myself in a complete confusion of why? A stillness of death permeated my being. The souls of humanity crying out in disbelief and constant agony. My body tingled and my soul ached sensing the presence of angels lifting soul after soul to their Eternal Rest. A cool October morning shadowed in fear. Fear of the unknown as America and the world learned to live post- 9-11-2001.
My visit was short yet centered around the tragedy. Even ten years later there is confusion and pain. It seems so long ago but yet so near. A day of confusion. A day of pain. Maybe family were lost. Maybe friends. Maybe a friend of a friend of a friend. Maybe no one but fellow Americans. But all Americans young and old felt a call of duty that day. We pulled together in Spirit and rage. American Flags flew everywhere; businesses, homes and cars. Big flags flying from the rear of pickups whipping in the wind of Patriotism. Old Glory where ever you turned. You could almost see God on the lips of everyone- yes, even the disbelievers asking why LORD, why.
People called out to God asking for guidance- asking for peace. In brevity every day I write of His love and forgiveness penning poems of His Word in Spirit-led psalm of praises and surrender to share the conversion of heart God instilled in my soul a short seven years ago. To offer some of God’s guidance in the madness of the unknown helping people turn to His help. I purposely want to reach out to the people who are expecting miracles while living a life led in self. To promote conversion in receiving the gift of God’s grace.
Our job as Christians is to instill His Son’s forgiveness in their hearts to weather the days of turmoil for as long as they may come. Any day of pain. God will expunge the fear from you. All you have to do is say yes to forgiveness and repent from your selfish pleasures of lust and sin. Say yes to His love and feel His forgiveness. We all know it’s hard to forgive, especially something as tragic as terror filled unknown death, the exact reason why we must all be prepared to accept life’s circumstances before His day of judgment comes upon us all. God has asked us to forgive our killers. He knows we’ll never forget.
So we ask in prayer: Dear God we pray today and every day we feel true forgiveness living in a state of Your grace. We pray today for continued healing for the senseless acts of terror that occurred 10 years ago today. We pray for my Kairos Prison Ministry Team. We pray for my daughter Alexandra’s peace and healing. We pray LORD to always be prepared in our hearts to be judged by You. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

“Spirit led God inspired Christ fed“
To Guide This Great Land- 9-11 ten years later
The memories linger
Charred memories of hate
Void of God?
Trying to relate
A day of disgust
Fires raging alone
Souls jumping
Prayers to the bone
Mouths open
Minds in fear
TV’s flickering
Scenes so dear
Three building burning
Four planes in all
Home of the military
Trade Towers so tall
We know some fought back
Protection of USA’s right
To live in freedom
To pay the cost in spite
Of death’s certain hero
No choice but to go
Down with the ship
The White House to forgo
Freedom will always ring
United we stand
Praying for Truth
To Guide This Great Land
