The Book of Psalm 27 v-Seven thru Nine

7 Hear my voice, LORD, when I call; have mercy on me and answer me. 8 “Come,” says my heart, “seek his face”; your face, LORD, do I seek! 9 Do not hide your face from me; do not repel your servant in anger. You are my Salvation; do not cast me off; do not forsake me, God my Savior!

Every day, I immerse myself in the Bible, praying unceasingly over everything I do, and proclaim openly where I declare my love for Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. These practices are not just rituals for me; they are deeply rooted in my desire to connect with God and seek His guidance in every aspect of my life.

Psalm 27:7-9 beautifully encapsulates the essence of my devotion:

“Hear my voice when I call, Lord; be merciful to me and answer me. My heart says of you, ‘Seek his face!’ Your face, Lord, I will seek. Do not hide your face from me, do not turn your servant away in anger; you have been my helper. Do not reject me or forsake me, God my Savior.”

When I call upon the Lord, as the Psalmist writes, I am seeking His mercy and His presence. This daily practice of studying the Bible and praying is my way of calling out to God, yearning for His wisdom and grace to guide me. It is through His Word that I find direction, comfort, and strength. It is in silence that I hear His voice His direction.

“My heart says of you, ‘Seek his face!’ Your face, Lord, I will seek.” This verse resonates deeply within me. It reminds me that seeking God should be my foremost priority. By studying the Bible daily, I am actively seeking His face, striving to understand His will and align my life with His teachings. It is in these quiet moments of reflection that I feel His presence most profoundly.

“Do not hide your face from me, do not turn your servant away in anger; you have been my helper.” These words are a plea for God’s continued presence and support. In my prayers, I often find myself echoing this sentiment. I pray unceasingly, not only in times of need but in all things, because I recognize my dependence on God’s guidance and strength. He has been my helper through every trial and triumph, and I trust in His unwavering love to overcome all things good and bad.

“Do not reject me or forsake me, God my Savior.” This final plea is a testament to my faith in Jesus as my Savior. By proclaiming my love for Him, I am acknowledging that He is the cornerstone of my life. His sacrifice and love are the foundation of my faith, and I am committed to sharing His Redemption with anyone, anytime and anywhere for I know that is what He asks of me surrendered to His Holy Will. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior’s command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and for ever. Amen.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

06-14-2024 Psalm 27 v-0709

**Lord voice mine hear Savior mine**

In the quiet whispers of my soul,

I call to You, O Lord, my goal.

Hear my voice as I implore,

Have mercy, answer, I need more.

My heart exudes it beckons, “Seek His face,”

In Your embrace, I find my place.

Your presence, Lord, is all I seek,

In Your strength, I am not weak.

Do not hide, O Lord, from me,

In Your light, I yearn to be.

Do not repel in anger’s fire,

Your love, O Lord, my heart’s desire.

You are my Salvation, my guiding star,

In Your grace, I travel far.

Do not forsake me, Savior divine,

In Your arms, forever mine. Amen.
