The Book of Sirach Ch 42 v- 28 thru 33

28 Let us praise him the more, since we cannot fathom him, for greater is he than all his works; 29 Awesome indeed is the LORD, and wonderful his power. 30 Lift up your voices to glorify the LORD as much as you can, for there is still more. Extol him with renewed strength, do not grow weary, for you cannot fathom him. 31 For who has seen him and can describe him? Who can praise him as he is? 32 Beyond these, many things lie hidden; only a few of his works have I seen. 33 It is the LORD who has made all things; to those who fear him he gives wisdom.

Mankind, in its finite existence, grapples with the profound enigma of the Divine, a being whose magnitude eclipses the grandest of His creations. The vast expanses of the universe, with its burning stars and drifting moons, are but a whisper of His omnipotent capabilities. God, in His boundless splendor, architected the celestial bodies—the sun, the moons, and the very fabric of Earth and Heaven—with a mere expression of His will. His power, infinite and unfathomable, stretches beyond the reaches of human comprehension.

We, as His humble creations, stand in awe of the mystery that is God, for greater is He than all His works. The very sun that warms our face and the moons that guide our nights are but fleeting glimpses of His glory. Our earthly minds falter in the face of such majesty, for to truly grasp the entirety of God’s nature is beyond our mortal capability.

It is in recognition of this overwhelming truth that we find our true calling—to extol His mighty deeds. In every act of kindness, every pursuit of justice, and every moment of gratitude, we are to praise Him. This praise is not limited to words or songs but is embodied in the essence of our daily lives. Through our reverence and worship, we honor the greatness that has set the universe into motion and acknowledge our role as witnesses to the grand tapestry of creation. Praise Him indeed, for in every heartbeat and every breath, there lies an opportunity to celebrate the unfathomable wonder that is God.

The majesty of God, in its incomprehensible depth and mercy, manifested itself in the most profound act of love known to humanity: the sending of His Only Son to atone for our sins. This divine intervention bridged the chasm wrought by human transgression, offering a path to reconciliation with the Creator. In the sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, God provided not just a means to erase the stain of sin, but also an invitation to enter into a life-transforming relationship with Him.

The call to repentance is an echo of this divine mercy, urging us to forsake the ways of sin and embrace a life of righteousness. Through genuine repentance and unwavering faith, we are granted the grace to align our lives with His holy will, to grow in His likeness, and to experience the fullness of life promised in Him. Thus, the majesty of God is not only revealed in His power to create and sustain the universe, but also in His tender willingness to redeem and restore His beloved creation to Himself. In living righteously through His strength, we honor the sacrifice of Christ and the boundless love of our Heavenly Father forever and ever. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior’s command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and for ever. Amen.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

05-10-2024 Sirach 42 v-2833

**Greater is He Praise Him**

Beyond the grasp of mortal sight,

In realms where stars are sown,

Dwells He in unapproachable light,

The Sovereign, God alone.

Greater is He than all His works,

The Source of life and love,

His majesty, where mystery lurks,

Enthroned high above.

His canvas, the expansive sky,

With heavenly bodies penned,

He spoke, and suns ignited high,

Their radiant beams extend.

The moons, His quiet sentinels,

Their silent vigils keep,

Orbiting ’round their carousel,

While worlds in darkness sleep.

Such power that flung the cosmos wide,

That set each planet’s spin,

Is but a whisper of the tide

Of might contained within.

Our minds, in finite shells confined,

Can scarce His nature glean,

The Architect of all designed,

Seen but yet unseen.

His purpose for us, not to know

The depths of His grand scheme,

But in our lives His love to show,

And in His grace we live Redeemed.

We, the echoes of His voice,

In every act and ward,

Charged to make the choice

To praise, to serve our Lord.

Let every deed reflect His glory,

Each breath a hymn of praise,

Let every chapter of our story

Speak of His wondrous ways.

Praise Him with the morning’s rise,

Praise Him when day departs,

For He who crafted earth and skies

Has also shaped our hearts.

So sing, O man, with fervent zeal,

In harmonies profound,

For though His fullness we can’t reveal,

In praise His love is found. Amen.
