05-01-2024 Sirach 39 V2425 Level paths walked by God’s virtuous
The Book of Sirach Ch 39 v- 24 thru 25
24 For the virtuous his paths are level, to the haughty they are clogged with stones. 25 Good things for the good he provided from the beginning, but for the wicked good things and bad.
God’s blessing is always present for those who walk in righteousness and follow his ways. The paths of the virtuous are level and smooth, leading them to peace, joy, and fulfillment. They receive God’s favor and guidance in all they do, finding strength and courage to overcome any obstacles that may come their way.
On the other hand, the paths of the haughty are clogged with stones, making their journey difficult and full of struggles. Their pride and arrogance blind them to the blessings that God wants to bestow upon them, causing them to stumble and fall at every turn.
From the beginning of time, God has provided good things for those who are good and virtuous. He showers them with his love, grace, and mercy, guiding them on the path of righteousness. However, for the wicked, God allows both good and bad things to happen, as a way to draw them back to him and lead them towards repentance and Salvation.
Even when God chastises the good with trials and challenges, it is for their own growth and learning. Through these key moments in life, they learn to forgive themselves and others, to trust in God’s plan, and to find the good within the bad. It is through these experiences that they come to know God’s grace and mercy, and find true Salvation in his love.
No matter what may happen, Jesus will always be the good choice to make. Even when bad things happen to good people, God is always there, ready to lift them up, to comfort them, and to guide them back onto the path of righteousness. In the end, it is through faith and trust in God that the virtuous find peace, joy, and Eternal Life in his presence. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.
At the Savior’s command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and for ever. Amen.
I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Ephesians 6:17-20
05-01-2024 Sirach 39 v-2425
**Good Things and Bad**
God’s blessings flow like a river,
To the virtuous, His paths are clear,
Smooth and level, free from strife,
Guiding them through a blessed life.
But to the haughty, His paths are blocked,
With stones and thorns, their way is rocked,
For the wicked, good things and bad,
Their journey filled with trials, they always seem sad.
From the beginning, God has provided,
For the righteous, His love is undivided,
Good things come to those who obey,
Their lives brightened by His holy ray.
Let us strive to walk in His ways,
To receive His blessings all our days,
For the virtuous, His love will shine,
And in His grace, we will find the Divine. Amen.

Loving God through Trust
Realized I was more than just a sinner
Full of anger from being abused
Stepbrothers abuse didn’t make me a winner
As my family seemed overused
Wife was like my mother
A child came soon after
Wife spoiled me like no other
Second son came soon from Heaven’s rafter
My mentality was different full of change
The Eucharist didn’t mean a thing
Brought up on broken promises
Mom didn’t pick me up to explain
Invited to the retreat
ShopRite bags my luggage
Men hugging each other
Found myself a worthy brother
Wife acquired anemia
A stroke soon made her bleed
Showing my wife love beyond measure
God’s grace gave us what we need
