The Book of Sirach Ch 34 v- 14 thru 17

14 Living is the spirit of those who fear the Lord, 15 for their hope is in their Savior. 16 Whoever fear the Lord are afraid of nothing and are never discouraged, for he is their hope. 17 Happy the soul that fears the Lord!

Living in the spirit of Truth is essential for those who fear the Lord, as it brings them closer to their Savior Jesus Christ. The fear of the Lord is not a fear of punishment or retribution as mentioned several times before, but a deep reverence and awe for the Almighty God. Those who fear the Lord understand the power and majesty of God, and they choose to align their lives with His Will.

For those who fear the Lord, their hope is in Jesus Christ, who is the embodiment of Truth. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6). By living according to His teachings and following His example, those who fear the Lord can experience the fullness of life and find true peace and joy.

When we fear the Lord and put our hope in Jesus Christ, we are able to face any challenge or obstacle with confidence and courage. The Bible tells us that “the fear of the Lord leads to life, and whoever has it rests satisfied” (Proverbs 19:23). This fear is not a paralyzing dread, but a healthy respect and awe that motivates us to live in accordance with God’s Word.

Living in the spirit of Truth means being honest and transparent in all areas of our lives. It means seeking to do what is right and just, even when it is difficult or unpopular. It means standing firm in our faith and not wavering in the face of adversity.

Those who fear the Lord are able to live in the spirit of Truth because they know that God is with them always. They trust in His promises and believe that He will never leave them nor forsake them. This faith gives them the strength to face whatever comes their way and to overcome any challenge that may arise.

Happy is the soul that fears the Lord, for they have found true peace and contentment in Him. They are able to live with confidence and joy, knowing that their hope is secure in Jesus Christ. They are not afraid of anything, for they know that God is always watching over them and guiding them on the path of righteousness.

Living in the spirit of Truth is the foundation of a life filled with purpose and meaning for those who fear the Lord. Their hope in Jesus Christ gives them the strength and courage to face whatever comes their way, knowing that they are never alone. May we all strive to live in the spirit of Truth, trusting in the Lord and finding our hope in our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior’s command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and for ever. Amen.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

04-15-2024 Sirach 34 v-1417

**Lord’s fear is your spirit alive in Him**

Living is the spirit of those who fear the Lord,

Their hope in Jesus Christ, their Savior adored.

For those who fear, are afraid of nothing,

Never discouraged, their faith always flourishing.

In the arms of Jesus, they find their rest,

Their hearts filled with peace, by His love so blessed.

With Him as their anchor, they face every storm,

Knowing His grace will always transform.

Happy is the soul that fears the Lord,

Their trust in Him, never ignored.

For in Him, they find their strength and light,

Guiding them through the darkest of night.

So let us embrace the fear of the Lord,

For in Him, our hope is fully restored.

Living in His spirit, we find true joy,

For Jesus is our hope, His Salvation deploy. Amen.
