The Book of Sirach Ch 27 v- 11 thru 12

11 The conversation of the godly is always wisdom, but the fool changes like the moon. 12 Limit the time you spend among the stupid, but frequent the company of the thoughtful.

In the tapestry of life, conversations play a crucial role in shaping our beliefs, values, and perspectives. The words we choose to speak and the company we keep can have a profound impact on our journey towards enlightenment and self-discovery. Sirach points out the obvious today proving the godly always reflect wisdom in their conversations, while the fool changes like the moon.

The godly, those who are guided by divine principles and values, exude a sense of tranquility and grace in their speech. Their words are like pearls of wisdom, spiritually chosen and thoughtfully expressed. When engaging in conversation with the godly, one is met with a sense of clarity and insight that transcends the mundane. Their words resonate with truth and authenticity, guiding others towards a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them.

On the other hand, the fool is characterized by their inconsistency and lack of discernment. Like the ever-changing phases of the moon, the fool’s words are fickle and unreliable. They may speak with conviction one moment, only to contradict themselves the next. Their conversations lack depth and substance, leaving those who engage with them feeling confused and uncertain.

It is essential to be mindful of the company we keep and the conversations we engage in. Spending time among the foolish and ignorant can be detrimental to our growth and well-being. Their words may sow seeds of doubt and negativity, leading us astray from our true path. Limiting our exposure to such influences is crucial in maintaining a sense of clarity and focus in our lives.

On the contrary, surrounding ourselves with thoughtful and insightful individuals can be enriching and transformative. The company of the wise and discerning can inspire us to reach new heights of understanding and self-awareness. Their conversations are like a beacon of light, illuminating the path towards wisdom and enlightenment.

In a world filled with noise and distractions, it is essential to prioritize meaningful and enriching conversations. By choosing to frequent the company of the thoughtful and wise, we can cultivate a sense of inner peace and harmony. Their words have the power to uplift and inspire, guiding us towards a deeper connection with ourselves and the divine.

In conclusion, the conversation of the godly always reflects wisdom, while the fool changes like the moon. Limiting the time we spend among the foolish and ignorant and frequenting the company of the thoughtful is essential in nurturing our spiritual growth and personal development. May we choose our words and companions wisely, for they have the power to shape our destinies and lead us towards a path of light and truth where Redemption erases every sin and Life Eternal has a chance to begin. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior’s command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and for ever. Amen.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

03-25-2024 Sirach 27 v-1112

**Godly Wisdom Foolish Stupid**

In the realm of wisdom, the godly converse

Their words like honey, sweet and diverse

Each sentence dripping with insight and truth

Guiding the lost back to the path of youth

But beware the fool, who changes like the moon

Their words like shifting sands, changing too soon

Limit your time among the stupid and vain

For their words bring only confusion and eternal pain

Instead, seek out the company of the thoughtful

Whose words are like a soothing balm, so careful

Their conversations filled with depth and grace

Leading you to a higher, enlightened place

So choose your companions with care and thought

For the words we speak can’t be easily forgot

Surround yourself with wisdom and light

And your path will always be clear and bright. Amen.
