03-15-2024 Sirach 23 V27 Understand all of the world
The Book of Sirach Ch 23 v- 27
27 Thus all who dwell on the earth shall know, all who remain in the world shall understand, That nothing is better than the fear of the Lord, nothing sweeter than obeying the Commandments of the Lord.
A little five stanza poem about obeying His Commandments knowing that there is nothing sweeter in life nothing better than living His Truth. In the world where everyone seems to think they know how to live in self, we must turn to the Lord and face this severe fact that Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven the only way to know forgiveness of sins the only way to find truth is to live His Commandments and obey His Law of love. Love thy neighbor as thy self and give to help others find this Redemption in all that they do by sharing the Salvation of Life Eternal. That all who dwell on the Earth shall know all who remain in the world shall understand that nothing is better than the fear of the Lord nothing sweeter than obeying the Commandments of God Almighty. Lord’s Fear Nothing Sweeter
In this world of chaos and confusion
There’s a truth that we must hold onto
It’s the fear of the Lord that guides our way
And in His Commandments, we live each day
There is nothing better than the fear of the Lord
Nothing sweeter than obeying His Word
For His ways are perfect and true
And in His love, we find our breakthrough
In the darkness, His light shines ever so bright
Leading us through the darkest of night
His love surrounds us, never letting go
In His presence, we find peace and eternal hope
Let every nation, let every tongue
Proclaim His goodness, His love among
For in Him, we find our true delight
In His presence, we find our fight
So let us lift our voices high
And declare His name across the sky
For in the fear of the Lord, we find our strength
And in His Commandments, we find our faith. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.
At the Savior’s command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and for ever. Amen.
I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.
