The Book of Sirach Ch 22 v- 16 and 17

16 A wooden beam firmly bonded into a building is not loosened by an earthquake; So the mind firmly resolved after careful deliberation will not be afraid at any time. 17 The mind solidly backed by intelligent thought is like a stucco decoration on a smooth wall.

We embrace Salvation as a mind that is resolved to careful deliberation because it requires us to constantly seek and understand the Will of God in our lives. It is a decision that cannot be taken lightly, as it involves surrendering our own desires and trusting in His plan for us. By leaning on love, faith, and hope of His grace, we are able to live a life Redeemed and transformed by His mercy and forgiveness. Through this process, we are able to experience the true joy and fulfillment that comes from walking in His light and following His teachings. Salvation is not just a one-time event, but a continuous journey of growth and renewal that requires a steadfast commitment to living in accordance with His Will.

A mind of Salvation is resolved to careful deliberation and is one that is accustomed to thoroughly analyzing situations, understanding the potential risks and benefits, and making informed decisions based on faith, logic and reason. Such a mind is well-equipped to handle uncertainty and fear because it is confident in its ability to assess and navigate challenges effectively by placing God First and relying on Jesus!

Additionally, a mind that is committed to careful deliberation is likely to have developed a sense of inner strength and resilience. It understands that fear is a natural human emotion, but it does not let fear dictate its actions or cloud its judgment. Instead, it remains focused on the task at hand, sharing Salvation and relying on its critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities to overcome obstacles.

Furthermore, a mind resolved to careful deliberation is not easily swayed by external influences or pressures. It is able to remain calm and composed in the face of uncertainty, trusting in Christ’s abilities in the decision-making process. This sense of living God First helps to reduce feelings of fear and anxiety, allowing the mind to approach challenges with a sense of confidence and determination.

Overall, a mind resolving to live God First for Salvation is able to approach any situation with a sense of calm and clarity, knowing that it has the skills and mindset necessary to handle whatever may come its way. This sense of preparedness and confidence helps to alleviate fear and uncertainty, allowing the mind to face challenges head-on with courage and resolve. I call this the Mind of Salvation. We pray you embrace His Way. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior’s command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and for ever. Amen.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

A building bonded by a beam

Even an earthquake loosens not

Deliberation careful resolves the team

Firm mind thoughts intelligent fright forgot

Like a wall smooth decorated in stuccos lot
