The Book of Sirach Ch 21 v- 26 thru 27
26 The mind of fools is in their mouths, but the mouth of the wise is in their mind. 27 When the godless curse their adversary, they really curse themselves.
When you let your mouth rule your mind as a fool, you are allowing your emotions and impulsive reactions to take over your thoughts and actions. This can lead to speaking without thinking, saying hurtful or disrespectful things, and acting in a reckless or irresponsible manner. Becoming godless in this context refers to losing touch with your moral compass and values. When you let your mouth rule your mind as a fool, you may act in ways that go against your beliefs or principles, leading to a sense of spiritual emptiness or disconnect.
Cursing an adversary when they are really cursing themselves means that when you engage in negative or hostile behavior towards others, you are ultimately hurting yourself. By lashing out at someone in anger or resentment, you are not only causing harm to them but also causing harm to your own well-being and inner peace. In essence, letting your mouth rule your mind as a fool and engaging in godless behavior can lead to a cycle of negativity and self-destruction. It is important to practice mindfulness and self-control in order to avoid falling into this pattern and to treat others with respect and compassion, even in challenging situations. Even though another may not respect themselves doing things that go against their well-being we must lend encouragement to overcome this type of self-destruction and help others see the Light of Salvation as the joy to avoid excess and seek to become a better you in peace. We are all struggling in some sense with this need to worship God with zeal not a lost sense of exhaustion. Amen.

At the Savior’s command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and for ever. Amen.
I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.
