The Book of Sirach Ch 18 v- 8 AND 12

8 What are mortals? What are they worth? What is good in them, and what is evil? 9 The number of their days seems great if it reaches a hundred years. 10 Like a drop of water from the sea and a grain of sand, so are these few years among the days of eternity. 11 That is why the Lord is patient with them and pours out his mercy on them. 12 He sees and understands that their death is wretched, and so he forgives them all the more.

As humans, we are all limited by the number of days we have on this earth. Our time is finite, and we never know when our time will come to an end. However, for those who believe in Jesus Christ as their Savior, there is hope beyond this earthly life. The Bible teaches us that through a simple confession of faith in Jesus Christ, our sins are forgiven and we are granted Eternal Life in heaven. This act of faith and repentance opens the door to a relationship with God and ensures that our days are not limited to just our time on earth.

The forgiveness and grace offered by Jesus Christ are truly remarkable. No matter how far we may have strayed or how many mistakes we have made, we can always turn to Him for forgiveness and Redemption. This promise of Eternal Life gives us hope and comfort in knowing that our time on earth is not the end, but rather just the beginning of something greater. So, while our days on this earth may be limited, our faith in Jesus Christ offers us an eternity of joy and peace in His presence. Let us not waste our time worrying about the limitations of this life, but instead focus on the promise of Eternal Life that is given to us through our Savior. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior’s command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and for ever. Amen.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for a Praise God thank You Jesus for Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

**Years few among eternity**

Mortals are what

Worth what

Them good by what

Evil is what

Years of one hundred their time be

Sand’s grain or water’s drop of the sea

Years few among eternity

God’s mercy poured in patience for free

Their wretched death He understands

Them forgiven even more

His Omnipotence He Commands

Eternity days we have in store
