The Book of Sirach Ch 16 v- One thru Two
1 Do not yearn for worthless children, or rejoice in wicked offspring. 2 Even if they be many, do not rejoice in them if they do not have fear of the LORD.
Hard subject to talk about. My poem reflects it all. I pray your children are God fearing. Truth is my children can’t forgive. Can’t rectify love and grace. Pray for me. Eight stanzas say it all. I’m hurt. I try not to be bitter. I forgive but can’t forget; Family. Amen.
Children Wicked Rejoice Not
In the realm of shadows, where darkness dwells,
Lies a yearning that within my heart swells.
But not for wicked children, no, not for those,
Who in wickedness and sin do proudly repose.
For the Lord’s light shines upon the righteous path,
And in His presence, we find our souls bathed.
So why rejoice in offspring who do not fear,
The Almighty’s name, His words they don’t hold dear?
A mother’s heart, a father’s pride,
Should rest upon a foundation tried.
Where love and reverence for the Lord reside,
Where righteousness and virtue doth abide.
Wickedness may flourish, evil may grow,
But its allure, the faithful shall forgo.
For what use is prosperity, without godly fear,
If souls are lost, their purpose unclear?
Let not our eyes be blinded by worldly gain,
But seek the wisdom that godly hearts retain.
For the righteous path, though narrow it may be,
Leads to eternal joy, from sin we are set free.
So yearn instead for children with hearts aflame,
With love for God, and reverence in His name.
Their souls shall shine like stars in the night,
Guiding others towards the Lord’s holy light.
For wickedness may tempt, and darkness may allure,
But only in the Lord’s grace, we find our cure.
Rejoice in children who fear the Almighty’s might,
For they shall walk in His ways, forever in His sight. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.
At the Savior’s command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and for ever. Amen.
I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for a little boy named David Alexander. Praise God thank You Jesus. Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.
