The Book of Sirach Ch 15 v- 14 thru 15

14 God in the beginning created human beings and made them subject to their own free choice. 15 If you choose, you can keep the commandments; loyalty is doing the will of God.

Loyalty is a quality that is often admired and valued in various aspects of life, whether it be in personal relationships, professional settings, or even within communities and organizations. However, when it comes to doing the Will of God, loyalty takes on a whole new level of significance. It becomes a guiding principle that not only shapes our actions but also deepens our connection with the Divine.

The concept of loyalty in relation to God’s Will can be understood as an unwavering commitment to following His guidance and commands. It goes beyond mere obedience; it encompasses a genuine desire to align our thoughts, words, and actions with His Divine purpose. Loyalty to God means placing Him at the center of our lives and surrendering our own desires and ambitions to His greater plan. God First. Amen.

One of the primary reasons why loyalty is doing the Will of God is that it stems from a place of trust. By acknowledging God’s infinite wisdom and accepting His sovereignty, we demonstrate our unwavering faith in Him. Loyalty is an expression of our belief that God’s plan is perfect, and His commands are meant to lead us towards righteousness, fulfillment, and spiritual growth.

Additionally, loyalty to God helps us cultivate a sense of humility. It reminds us that we are not the ultimate authority in our lives, but rather, we are servants of a higher power. It encourages us to set aside our egos and acknowledge that we are part of a greater whole. By doing so, we become open to receiving divine guidance and allowing God’s Will to shape our decisions and actions.

Moreover, loyalty to God enables us to navigate the complexities of life with a sense of purpose and clarity. In a world filled with distractions and conflicting messages, it is easy to lose sight of what truly matters. However, by remaining loyal to God’s Will, we anchor ourselves in principles that transcend the transient nature of worldly pursuits. We gain a sense of direction, knowing that our actions are grounded in the eternal values of love, compassion, justice, and forgiveness.

Furthermore, loyalty to God serves as a source of strength and resilience during challenging times. It provides us with a firm foundation from which we can overcome adversity and find solace in His presence. When faced with trials and tribulations, we can draw strength from our loyalty to God, knowing that He is with us every step of the way. Lastly, loyalty to God fosters a deeper intimacy with Him. When we dedicate ourselves to doing His Will, we develop a profound connection that transcends superficial religiosity. Loyalty becomes an act being living Salvation calling on the Name of Jesus to know His peace His passion His purpose; The Will of God. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior’s command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and for ever. Amen.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott.
