The Book of Sirach Ch 14 v- One thru Two

1 Happy those whose mouth causes them no grief, those who are not stung by remorse for sin. 2 Happy are those whose conscience does not reproach them, those who have not lost hope.

Why is Salvation better than living sin when using a mouth that spews profanity? Even our current president uses the “F” word like it’s a proper way to speak to anyone at anytime. Profanity kills; it smothers the soul with disgrace burdens the mind with ugliness and makes the Spirit of love run to the depths of shame. Once spewed you feel ugly you look dumb and you find no applause for your disrespect to others. Now a days you hear the high school aged kids talking as if they have no schooling on what it means to live with respect for yourself and the world around you. They follow an older group of bad boy dialects that spew words of disgrace over and over and over again. “F” this and “F” that. It seems to me a truthful disgrace. Today my poem reflects this journey of Why Salvation is better than speaking sin. Enjoy and keep your word filled with Jesus! Amen.

Salvation is better than speaking sin

In a world consumed by darkness, where profanity prevails,

There shines a ray of hope, where Salvation never fails.

For in the arms of Christ Jesus, a love so pure resides,

A refuge from the storm, where Redemption gently guides.

Oh, the allure of living in sin, with a mouth that spews disdain,

But let me tell you of a better path, where healing shall sustain.

For in Christ’s forgiving grace, a new beginning is eternally found,

A transformation so profound, where lost souls are unbound.

Profanity may bring pleasure, a momentary thrill,

But the depths it drags us into, can shatter hearts by chill.

In the words of our Savior, a different truth is revealed,

A language of compassion, in which love is unconcealed.

For Salvation in Christ Jesus unburdens every soul,

His grace and mercy cleanse, making broken hearts whole.

With a mouth that praises God, a melody of joy is sung,

In the presence of the Lord, a new life has begun.

In the darkness, sin may tempt us, with its deceptive snare,

But through faith in Jesus Christ, we find Redemption’s flare.

For His blood shed on Calvary, washes away our shame,

And in His Resurrection, we find victory’s flame.

So let’s choose Salvation, over sin’s enticing grip,

For in Christ’s loving embrace, our spirits find their ship.

Though profanity may seem tempting, its pleasure is but fleeting,

But the peace and joy in Jesus, are eternally completing.

So let our mouths speak kindness, let our hearts overflow,

With the love of our Savior, to all we meet and know.

For in Salvation’s embrace, we find true freedom’s call,

A life transformed by Christ, is the greatest gift of all. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior’s command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and for ever. Amen.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for a little boy named David Alexander. Praise God thank You Jesus. Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.
