The Book of Sirach Ch 13 v- Three thru Four

3 The rich do wrong and boast of it, while the poor are wronged and beg forgiveness. 4 As long as the rich can use you they will enslave you, but when you are down and out they will abandon you.

In recent years, income inequality has become a pressing issue, with the rich amassing ever-increasing wealth while the poor struggle to escape poverty. This phenomenon is a result of various interconnected factors, including systemic issues, economic policies, and societal factors. Let’s delve into the reasons behind this growing wealth gap and understand why the rich keep getting richer while the poor keep getting poorer. One of the main drivers of this cycle is the unequal distribution of wealth. Over time, wealth has become concentrated in the hands of a few individuals or corporations. This strength is often perpetuated by inheritance, as wealth tends to be passed down through generations, leading to the accumulation of even more wealth among the already affluent.

Education plays a crucial role in socioeconomic mobility. Unfortunately, the less fortunate often face limited access to quality education due to financial constraints. This lack of education restricts their ability to compete in the job market and hinders their chances of escaping poverty. Meanwhile, the rich have better access to educational resources, enabling them to secure high-paying jobs and maintain their wealth. Economic policies can either exacerbate income inequality or mitigate it. Unfortunately, in many cases, policies tend to favor the rich. Tax policies, for instance, often provide loopholes and deductions that benefit the wealthy, allowing them to accumulate more wealth. Additionally, corporate-friendly policies can lead to the concentration of wealth in the hands of a few powerful entities, further widening the wealth gap.

Financial literacy is another critical factor that affects economic prosperity. The poor often lack knowledge about managing finances, investments, and other wealth-building strategies. This lack of awareness can make it difficult for them to break out of the cycle of poverty. Conversely, the rich have access to financial advisors and resources, enabling them to make strategic investments and grow their wealth. Rapid technological advancements and automation have transformed the job market. While new technologies create wealth for corporations and the affluent, they often lead to job displacement for the less skilled. As a result, the poor face increased unemployment rates and reduced job security, while the rich benefit from the gains generated by technology and automation. Until the Free World seeks to share the goodwill of Salvation, it will be lost in the excess of too much too soon and the rich will get richer as the poor will get poorer; it’s how we use it for good that will be the lasting testament of love, faith and hope of grace to overcome all sin to live in peace for Life Eternal. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior’s command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and for ever. Amen.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for a little boy named David Alexander. Praise God thank You Jesus. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

**Wronging the poor as they pursue**

Boasting of wrong the rich will do

Wronging the poor as they pursue

You to be enslaved trying to prove

You abandoned ultimately profit they ensue

Forgiveness beg from the poor in you
