The Book of Sirach Ch 12 v- Two thru Four
2 Do good to the righteous and reward will be yours, if not from them, from the LORD. 3 No good comes to those who give comfort to the wicked, nor is it an act of mercy that they do. 4 Give to the good but refuse the sinner.
Throughout history, the concept of divine justice has been a subject of great contemplation and debate. It is a belief deeply ingrained in various religious and spiritual traditions that God, in His infinite wisdom, rewards the righteous and punishes the wicked. While some may question the fairness of this principle, it is essential to explore why God bestows rewards upon those who do good while refusing the sinners and the wicked. First and foremost is Moral Order. God’s rewarding of the righteous and punishing the wicked serves to maintain a moral order within society. By recognizing and appreciating good deeds, individuals are motivated to pursue righteousness and contribute positively to their communities. Conversely, the refusal of sinners and the wicked sends a clear message that immoral actions will not go unnoticed or unpunished.
Divine rewards serve as encouragement and reinforcement for those who choose to do good. They act as tangible symbols of God’s approval and support, reinforcing positive behavior and inspiring individuals to continue on the path of righteousness. These rewards can manifest in various forms, such as inner peace, happiness, and a sense of fulfillment. Refusing the sinners and the wicked is not an act of cruelty but rather a consequence of their actions. Sin, by its nature, leads individuals away from God’s intended path and damages the fabric of society. By refusing the sinners, God enforces the principle that actions have consequences and that one must bear the responsibility for their choices.
God’s reward for righteousness and refusal of the wicked is an embodiment of justice and fairness. It ensures that each person is accountable for their actions and their impact on others. This principle offers hope and comfort to those who have suffered at the hands of the wicked, assuring them that justice will prevail in due time. Divine rewards and refusals play a vital role in the spiritual growth and transformation of individuals. Through the rewards received for their righteous actions, individuals are encouraged to develop virtues such as compassion, love, and forgiveness. On the other hand, the refusal of the wicked can act as a wake-up call, urging them to introspect, repent, and seek redemption. The concept of divine justice, wherein rewards are bestowed upon the righteous and the wicked are refused, is a fundamental aspect of various religious and spiritual belief systems. It serves as a moral compass for all societies no matter their religious call. Amen.

At the Savior’s command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and for ever. Amen.
I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath.
